This year's theme

"Deeply Human invites artists to explore the shared experiences that connect us all.

As great observers of our contemporary world, artists notice subtle signals many of us miss.

I hope artists will be inspired by this theme to convey universal feelings in their own creative voices. We're looking for works that resonate deeply with viewers and remind us of the shared memories and feelings that unite us all."
